Presidential Statement on Israel
As Optica President I see the best humanity has to offer—scientists discovering the possible, inventing a better future. Sadly, in the past few days we witnessed the worst in humanity. We all have learned about the horrific acts by Hamas in Israel. Nothing justifies such terrorism, including the intentional targeting of civilians. I grieve for those murdered and pray for the healing of the wounded and the return of the hostages. I extend my heartfelt support to all Optica members in Israel in these dark times.
